The Purple Knights totaled over 400 yards of offense in a 44-6 victory led by a stingy defense and junior quarterback Kendell Sampson, who threw for 172 yards with three touchdowns while rushing for one more score.
St. Augustine (2-0) also blocked a punt for the third week in a row dating back to its jamboree matchup, and Landry-Walker’s (1-1) lone score was a 24-yard strike from junior quarterback Justin Hudson to senior receiver Ramon Coleman.
